Hello! My name is Carmen, a scientific and traveler in search of authentic experiences.
Having visited more than 40 countries, many of them more than once, every time I organize a trip I look for unforgettable sensations. I enjoy feeling part of the country, connecting with local people and trying to live as they live, learning their dances (another of my passions), their gastronomy, its music and its traditions. Always staying in charming places not included tourist guides. I flee from organized trips where you see 10 monuments in a day and then you do not remember any.
I feel very lucky because I have been able to live many of them personally and professionally for more than 13 years. Professionally I have organized, enjoyed and helped others to enjoy different events for small and large groups, trips and experiences. And now, I would like to share them with you. Will you come with me?

A BOOK
Whenever I plan to travel to a place I like to read local literature, preferably based on real events, whether historical, in travel guides, journalistic or current research.
The Book of my Destiny is one of the last books that I have read, and I have really liked it.
Although I organize my trips reading other travelers’ blogs and contacting local people, I always end up buying a travel guide to complete my research. In my opinion, Lonely Planet is one of the most complete guides I know and I like it best of all.

A HOBBY
I love to dance. When I was small I started going to modern dance classes and then I continued with hip hop, funky, etc.
Currently, I enjoy listening to Latin music and dancing salsa, bachata and merengue. One of my favorite places to go dancing in Madrid is the Black Tomasa.

A MOVIE
I enjoy the feature films that make me think and from which I can learn. I usually watch alternative films, but I also see great hits from the big screen.
The journey of Nisha and Capernaum are the last movies I’ve seen that I liked the most.
